One of the panels that I moderated at our recent “Respect the Internet II” event was titled “Brands as Creators.” The panelists included Jeff Simmermon, Director of Digital Communication, Time Warner Cable, and Erik Martin, General Manager, Reddit.
We discussed types of content brands are creating, how content is created and a ton of other great information.
When we opened the panel up for discussion, someone asked a very interesting question pertaining to “when should a brand stay out of the conversation.”
The question could not have been better, and more on point, especially since we had someone from Time Warner on the panel. They do a great job in the world of social, and I think you’ll enjoy the responses in the video below.
