As an established global agency, our clients expect Ketchum leaders to manage our agency effectively today and continue to develop the agency and its services for tomorrow.
It has been just over a month since Ray Kotcher became the Chairman of Ketchum and I assumed the role of CEO. Since then, in addition to extensive travel to meet with clients and teams, I have thought a lot about the leadership roles we need to manage the breadth and scope of the agency today and over the next few years of rapid change in our business.
With that in mind, I am very pleased to announce four important senior leadership appointments, effective September 1st, that will elevate some of our most trusted colleagues and ensure that we have the management depth to build the agency for the future, all of which are designed to improve our performance on our clients’ behalf. The appointments are:
- Rob Lorfink is appointed President and COO
- Barri Rafferty is appointed CEO of North America
- Lorraine Thelian is appointed Vice Chairman
- Mike Doyle is appointed Director of the New York office
Rob Lorfink is one of the smartest business leaders I have ever worked with and has played a larger role than most know in reshaping the contours of our agency. This appointment recognizes that central role now and in the future. Barri is as creative and decisive a leader as you’ll find today and she will be an amazing leader of our North American business. I am thrilled that Lorraine will continue to bring her experience and business acumen to bear on our client issues and network of offices as vice chair. Mike brings outstanding skills in client service, new business and talent development to his role and is very well suited to lead our largest office at this exciting time in our development.
